It’s just two broke girls in a photobooth.
As recent transplants to one of the most expensive cities in the US, Kal and I are constantly on the lookout for adventures on the cheap in San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. Working remotely has provided us with the freedom to live in a new, awesome location, with a seemingly endless array of things to do – that being said, living in a city in California while drawing a Midwestern salary has been an interesting experiment in the cost of living.
Luckily, it’s not too hard to find cheap (or even better, free) things to do in the city. If you’re a photobooth aficionado like us, you should probably drop everything and head to Columbus Cafe on Green Street in North Beach. FREE.PHOTO.BOOTH. Need I say more?
After just one night there, we left with a fat stack of photos. I mean, seriously, something like 20+ photo strips. Granted we were those weird girls who never left the booth and it was a pretty slow night, but still – it’s a free freaking photobooth. Plus they have a pretty solid happy hour.
